Support for the Kirill Georgieff Foundation

Since its founding in 2000, the Kirill Georgieff Foundation has been committed to supporting disadvantaged children and adolescents throughout Germany. As a non-profit organization, it supports public and private educational institutions, daycare centers, and organized playgroups to provide young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds with equal opportunities for care, education, and cultural participation. The focus is particularly on children and adolescents with physical, mental, or emotional impairments. Applications for financial grants can be submitted on an ongoing basis, enabling project partners to gain long-term planning security in implementing innovative concepts and initiatives.

The funding objectives include supporting homes for children with impairments as well as accompanying young people in their training and organized learning settings. In addition, artistic, musical, and athletic talents are specifically promoted to develop creative potential. Financial resources are also available for theater and music projects in which children and adolescents – sometimes together with caregivers or experts – can perform on stage. Families and regional care networks benefit from the foundation’s work, as cultural activities and social participation are promoted alongside educational support. The Kirill Georgieff Foundation thus enables a holistic accompaniment of young people on their path toward greater independence and social integration.
