Funding of the Cancer Foundation North Rhine-Westphalia

The Cancer Foundation North Rhine-Westphalia is committed to a comprehensive improvement in the care of cancer patients in North Rhine-Westphalia by promoting both idealistic and financial initiatives that go beyond purely medical care. Project initiatives are supported that aim for close networking of non-medical actors, develop new support and communication models, and contribute sustainably to the education and prevention of cancer. Eligible for funding are individuals and institutions from the fields of health, research & innovation, science, as well as labor & social affairs, who submit a written funding application with a detailed project concept. Eligible projects are those that comply with the foundation’s funding guidelines and are characterized by a clear objective to improve patient care, networking, or education. Grants may be applied for investment funds, consumables, as well as project-related personnel costs.
