Funding of the Meta Kaasch Foundation

The Meta-Kaasch Foundation is committed nationwide to strengthening financial literacy and providing young people with solid knowledge in finance and stock market education. The focus is on projects that clearly convey basic economic competencies as well as knowledge of commodity and securities exchanges, and that stimulate interest in economic and tax policy. A special emphasis is placed on promoting the English language as the international language of business, particularly in comprehensive schools. As a pure grant provider, the foundation has a board of trustees that decides several times a year on the selection of funding projects. Only public schools and other educational institutions that independently develop economic education programs for young people are eligible for funding. Applicants must provide a precise project description, a detailed financial plan including proof of total costs, as well as information on already secured third-party funds or sponsors. Evaluation criteria include compliance with the funding guidelines and the transparency of the budget planning. Since no direct funds are transferred to private individuals, applicants should submit all required documents completely and in proper form by mail.
