Funding from the Möhler Foundation for People in Need

The Möhler Foundation for People in Need supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Baden-Württemberg that assist individuals and families in need during illness or emergency situations. A particular focus is placed on homelessness assistance: for example, the foundation supports the establishment and operation of luggage locker facilities for the homeless. It works closely with responsible social institutions such as social or youth welfare offices as well as independent welfare organizations and provides grants for projects that have an immediate local impact and offer sustainable aid. Only tax-privileged corporations and recognized social service providers are eligible for funding – applications can be submitted at any time, as the foundation offers ongoing funding opportunities.

Funding is primarily provided for project costs of charitable relief actions and in-kind services for those in need; administrative costs may not exceed ten percent of the proceeds. Evaluation is based on the statutory appropriateness, urgency, and sustainability of the assistance.
