Funding of the Münster AIDS Foundation

Since its founding in 2001, the Münster AIDS Foundation has supported projects focused on prevention, counseling, and care related to sexually transmitted diseases, particularly HIV. Nationwide, the foundation promotes local, supraregional, and international initiatives initiated by non-profit organizations such as Aidshilfe Münster e.V. Funding is provided for educational and training measures, self-help initiatives, public awareness campaigns, as well as specialized health services for particularly vulnerable groups. A special emphasis is placed on the immediate financial support of people living with HIV to sustainably strengthen their participation in social and professional life.

Non-profit organizations, initiative groups, and projects in the fields of health, social affairs, migration, as well as work & social services can submit grant applications on an ongoing basis. The foundation applies an inclusive award procedure and ensures a balanced distribution of funds between regional and international projects. Whether self-help groups, training concepts, or emergency funds – the Münster AIDS Foundation supports initiatives that provide effective prevention work while enabling social participation and equal opportunities for people living with HIV. The possibility to apply at any time offers committed project sponsors a continuous financing perspective without fixed deadlines.
