Funding of PH Vorarlberg

The two-semester continuing education program "Leading and Managing a Kindergarten" at the University of Education Vorarlberg is aimed at educational professionals who wish to take on leadership roles in infant and kindergarten groups. The State of Vorarlberg supports this professional qualification offer in accordance with § 14 para. 4 KBBG with subsidies for speaker fees, travel and transportation costs, as well as administrative expenses. The funding applies to all implementation phases from 01.09.2023 to 31.08.2026 and contributes to sustainably securing the high demands placed on leaders in early childhood education institutions. Public institutions can settle the subsidy after completion of the course by no later than 30.09. of the following care year and submit applications along with cost estimates each time.

The funding strengthens the organizational and pedagogical competence of leadership personnel by providing a structured framework for theory delivery and practical reflection. Participants benefit from practice-oriented input by experienced speakers as well as networking with experts from the early childhood education field. Through targeted financial support, the University of Education Vorarlberg is enabled to regularly organize and conduct this university course. Public institutions aiming to promote the professional advancement of educational staff thus receive a valuable foundation for the qualitative further development of child education and care in the Vorarlberg region. Interested institutions can utilize the funding period until 31.08.2026 to plan their course organization and sustainably secure professional training.
