Description

Since 1999, the Rudolf Knupp Foundation, based in Solingen, has been specifically supporting initiatives for youth care and youth welfare in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a non-profit institution, it funds non-profit organizations as well as, in individual cases, needy children and adolescents. The focus is on projects that stand out due to their topicality and broad impact, deliver visible results, and achieve long-term effects. Secured follow-up financing as well as a clearly defined funding request are also important. For individual applications, in addition to a detailed description of the living conditions and existing support services, proof of need, current address and contact details, as well as date of birth, are required. Submissions are accepted continuously via the official application form, supplemented by a project description, cost and financing plan, as well as signature and bank details.

The funding program is primarily aimed at youth welfare providers in the Bergisches Land region and, in exceptional cases, offers individual support for young people in difficult life situations. The combination of structured criteria and uncomplicated application procedures enables tailored support for projects that empower young people and open up perspectives for them. Teams of volunteers and professionals benefit equally from a collaborative partnership, as do individual projects promoting talent development. Interested institutions and individuals receive timely feedback, allowing creative and sustainable initiatives in the social and educational sectors to be implemented quickly. This commitment creates more opportunities for participation for the target group and fosters a solid foundation for the future.
