Funding by the Sparkassenstiftung Starkenburg

The Sparkassenstiftung Starkenburg supports exclusively non-profit organizations in Hesse that are engaged in the fields of art and culture, youth and elderly care, sports, environmental/nature conservation, education and upbringing, as well as heritage preservation. The funding measure is designed as a grant, whereby the amount of funding always depends on the actual project scope and serves as seed financing. Funding applications can be submitted continuously, provided they are complete at least three months before the planned project start. The foundation places particular emphasis on a convincing and detailed project concept that clearly demonstrates compliance with the funding guidelines as well as proof of non-profit status. The submission of all required documents such as the funding application, project description, statutes, current register excerpt, and proof of non-profit status is indispensable.

The funding targets various areas of social engagement – from artistic and cultural initiatives to social aid projects and activities in sports and environmental protection. The funding not only serves to realize short-term ideas but aims to initiate sustainable projects that strengthen social cohesion and civic engagement. A funding rate of 50% is granted, while projects have an overall maximum duration of 36 months. This offers non-profit organizations, associations, and institutions the opportunity to implement innovative approaches in the Hesse region and to set positive impulses in the long term.

Through the support of the Sparkassenstiftung Starkenburg, a significant contribution is made to promoting civic engagement and regional identity.
