Description
The Sports Foundation of South Baden supports performance-oriented young athletes from non-profit clubs in the administrative district of Freiburg. With a financial grant and accompanying measures for dual career development, the foundation focuses on holistic support for young athletes. The program targets individuals who belong to a selected team or squad group at the state association level and can demonstrate a clear performance sports perspective. Continuous application submission allows for flexible application at any time, ensuring that funding is always available according to need.
A prerequisite for funding is club membership within the catchment area of the Freiburg Regional Council as well as membership in a student squad, a state selection team, a state squad, or a national squad. In addition to proof of athletic achievements, training conditions and the available coaching potential are included in the evaluation. A funding interview conducted by the Olympic Training Center Freiburg-Black Forest marks the start of the application process, which is based on a professional assessment and provides the board with an individual funding proposal. Through this combination of financial support and consultation, the foundation strengthens the dual career of young athletes and creates ideal conditions for a successful future in competitive sports.
