Description

The Benno Kittl Foundation provides nationwide support in Germany and Austria to talented but financially disadvantaged pupils, students, and trainees up to the age of 26. Grants are awarded in the fields of music, sports, languages, natural sciences, art, culture, theater, and dance for tuition fees, course costs, and travel expenses for a duration of up to 12 months. The goal is the sustainable development of creative and professional potentials so that the beneficiaries can contribute their special abilities to society in the long term. An extension beyond the 12-month period is possible upon re-evaluation.

Applications can be submitted continuously, provided there is a permanent residence in Germany or Austria and no simultaneous funding from other foundations/associations. In addition to proof of exceptional talent – for example, through letters of recommendation, certificates, or competition results – the following documents are required: proof of family income, a sworn statement regarding personal financial situation, consent for data usage, as well as participation certificates for funded measures. Allocation is based on the criteria of talent, financial need, and contribution to the foundation’s purpose. Further details on the funding guidelines and the digital application process can be found on the Benno Kittl Foundation’s website.
