Description

The Ehepaar Greiß Foundation is committed in North Rhine-Westphalia to supporting young people in vocational training and further education who face risks to their education due to family or financial constraints. As a permanent grant opportunity, the funding is aimed at individuals who can demonstrate that they are currently undergoing vocational training and have already exhausted all local support and family resources. The foundation’s work is based on an individual case assessment conducted by volunteer experts who analyze the family situation and financial need. Through this needs-based support, adolescents and young adults receive not only financial relief but also advisory assistance to successfully pursue their training goals.

In the selection process, particular importance is given to the urgency of the funding gap as well as the current training status. Applicants provide corresponding evidence regarding their training status, family circumstances, and already utilized support services. The foundation intervenes additionally when other local funding options have been exhausted. Submissions are possible at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. This flexible approach ensures that needy participants receive prompt and unbureaucratic support. Interested parties thus gain backing to shape their professional future in NRW independently and to develop long-term prospects.
