Description

Founded in 1920, the Kleiderversorgung Braunschweig Foundation is committed to strengthening nonprofit initiatives in the administrative districts of Braunschweig and Goslar. The focus lies on the commercial-vocational training of young talent in the clothing industry, the promotion of sports projects for youth, as well as support for the training of mentally or physically impaired young people. Only nonprofit organizations, interest groups, or associations that implement projects in the areas of vocational training and further education, education, sports, children and youth, culture & media, as well as labor & social affairs are eligible for funding. Continuous submission of applications ensures timely decisions, while commercial and political groups, individuals, and long-term funding are excluded.

Interested applicants must submit a fully completed funding application, including a detailed project description, proof of bank details, and a usage report upon completion. Additionally, information on total costs, own contribution, and the requested grant, as well as a brief report on funds already applied for from third parties, must be provided. The decision is made after reviewing all documents by the foundation’s administration. The goal is to strengthen young talent in the regional clothing industry, support sporting activities of growing youth, and promote inclusive training projects—always in the spirit of sustainable, community-oriented development on site.
