Funding of the Lebenshilfe Munich Foundation

The Lebenshilfe Munich Foundation supports projects and initiatives in Bavaria that provide effective assistance for people with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities of all ages and their relatives. Both private individuals and non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, other associations, and public institutions are supported. The foundation aims to enable initiatives that sustainably strengthen social interaction, participation in working life, and healthcare provision for people with intellectual disabilities. A prerequisite is that the project location or the impact of the measure is in Munich or the surrounding area and specifically targets the mentioned beneficiary group. At the same time, the jury evaluates the alignment with the principles for the allocation of foundation funds as well as the effectiveness of the measure for the beneficiaries.

Applications can be submitted at any time by providing a detailed project description, a financing plan, proof of available own funds, bank details, and a signature on the application form. The type of funding is structured as a non-repayable grant. The decision is based on a transparent review of all documents and ensures lawful use of funds. The foundation places great importance on the sustainable impact and effectiveness of the supported projects. Interested project sponsors in Munich and the surrounding area can thus receive flexible and unbureaucratic support for inclusive and impact-oriented measures in the social and healthcare sectors.
