Funding by the St. Nicolai Foundation on Föhr

The St. Nicolai Foundation on Föhr annually awards interest-free grants from the generated income to church and non-profit institutions as well as volunteers with a direct connection to the St. Nicolai parish on Föhr. The aim of the funding is the long-term safeguarding of important areas of parish work, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the maintenance of the listed building fabric. The focus is on community education offerings for all age groups, the restoration and care of the historic church building, as well as the professional cleaning and maintenance of the organ. Through this project funding, vibrant meeting spaces are created that strengthen social cohesion and support democracy education locally.

Only projects with a clear connection to parish, cultural, or monument preservation purposes and with proven affiliation to the St. Nicolai parish are funded.
