Description
The Hans Vielberth University Foundation for Real Estate Economics supports professors and private lecturers at the University of Regensburg in innovative projects within the field of real estate economics. The focus is particularly on international exchange programs, excellent research projects, and the further development of teaching. Thanks to the donor initiative of Dr. Johann Vielberth and numerous corporate partners, several professorships have already been financed at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, and new degree programs have been established to address existing educational gaps in the German-speaking region. Funding is provided in the form of grants, which can be submitted continuously and without a fixed deadline via an online application form. Prerequisites for application are valid access credentials to the portal as well as qualification as a professor or private lecturer at the University of Regensburg.
The foundation’s goal is to sustainably strengthen the Institute for Real Estate Economics and further enhance its visibility in research and teaching. Primarily supported are projects that contribute to the establishment of new study programs or advance internationally networked research activities. This includes, among other things, the financing of professorships, the awarding of prizes and honors, as well as the support of conferences and symposia. Applications can be submitted at any time, with only digital documents accepted via the university platform. Through this funding, the academic community receives important impetus to scientifically shape future developments in real estate economics and optimally prepare young talent for the challenges of the market.
