Support for Club Activities (Suicide Prevention) – Life – the "Experience Life in Abundance" Foundation

The promotion of club activities in the field of suicide prevention is supported by the Life – the "Experience Life in Fullness" Foundation and is aimed at non-profit interest groups or clubs based in Flensburg. The focus is on the financial support of the association Lichtblick Flensburg e.V. to ensure sustainable regional crisis intervention. The goal is to accompany those affected by chronic or acute suicidal thoughts as well as their relatives in stressful life situations through qualified counseling and practical assistance. By providing grants, crisis counseling services can be maintained and further developed in the long term. The initiative thus contributes to strengthening the psychosocial infrastructure in Schleswig-Holstein and promotes joint local engagement.

Eligible for funding are clubs or interest groups based in the Schleswig-Holstein region whose activities are clearly dedicated to suicide prevention. Applications can be submitted at any time without deadlines, as long as the applicant’s headquarters are located in Flensburg and the requested funds serve counseling, support for relatives, or grief counseling. In particular, people suffering from suicidal thoughts, as well as their families and friends, receive prompt and unbureaucratic support through the program. The Life Foundation procures the necessary funds and transfers them to the association Lichtblick Flensburg e.V. to expand existing counseling capacities according to demand and competently support those affected in times of crisis.
