Funding of the Vonovia Social Foundation – Living Together / Neighborhood

The Vonovia Social Foundation supports a variety of initiatives that strengthen neighborhood cohesion in residential communities nationwide. The goal is to enable social, cultural, and sporting activities through financial grants that connect generations, cultures, and lifestyles. Funding is provided, among other things, for neighborhood festivals, concerts, sports events, as well as the construction and furnishing of community rooms, meeting places, and playgrounds. Through this support, the foundation contributes to intensifying dialogue among residents and creating a vibrant, supportive environment.

Eligible to apply are interest groups, associations, private individuals, and non-profit organizations active in Vonovia settlements who wish to implement a neighborhood project. A prerequisite for funding is proof of the initiative or residents’ community as well as confirmation that the project takes place within a Vonovia residential settlement. Eligible expenses include event costs, construction and furnishing of community rooms or playgrounds, and other material costs. Applications can be submitted throughout the year; a project description, budget plan, and proof of settlement affiliation are required. With straightforward procedures and continuous deadlines, the foundation supports committed groups in creating sustainable meeting spaces and enriching local community life.
