Funding of the VOW Foundation for Children

The VOW Foundation for Children continuously awards grants nationwide to non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and public institutions that implement projects for sick, therapy- or otherwise needy, as well as socially disadvantaged children and adolescents. The aim of the funding is to make needs-based measures and services accessible to children and young people in difficult life situations through financial support. The foundation, established in 2006 by Dietmar Bosse and VOW Immobilienmanagement GmbH, is based on an annual core of endowments from the VOW real estate group and the founding couple and strives for a sustainable impact in favor of the younger generation.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit or public sponsors that operate earmarked projects in the fields of child and youth welfare, health, therapy, and social support. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided that formal sponsorship exists and a coherent project concept is demonstrated. The VOW Foundation for Children places great importance on intensive networking of the funded institutions and promotes best-practice examples characterized by innovation and effectiveness. Through its consistent focus on young people in special life situations, the foundation makes an important contribution to social participation and the long-term development of prospects for disadvantaged children and adolescents in Germany.
