Funding of the Salzburg Civil Protection Association

With the funding from the Salzburg Civil Protection Association, the State of Salzburg supports the implementation of the Civil Protection Children's Safety Olympics Safety Tour. The aim of the initiative is to sensitize children in the 3rd and 4th grades in Salzburg to civil and self-protection skills in a playful manner. At various stations, participants learn practical and important content on disaster preparedness, hazard prevention, and first aid. Through the mix of competition, team spirit, and knowledge transfer, safety awareness and a sense of responsibility are promoted, so that young people are prepared early for possible emergency situations.

The funding is granted as an unlimited subsidy and is exclusively reserved for non-profit organizations such as interest groups or other associations. A prerequisite for the grant is compliance with the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Salzburg. The formal funding application must be submitted to the Office of the Salzburg State Government – Department of External Security and Disaster Protection. Ongoing application submission allows flexible project planning, while transparent processing and the proof of use through invoices and activity reports ensure appropriate use of funds. This enables associations to implement educational and disaster protection measures in the long term and contribute to strengthening the civilian population.
