Funding within the framework of the German Accelerator Program

The free accelerator program is aimed at innovative startups from Germany that are incorporated as corporations (UG, AG, GmbH, GmbH & Co. KG) and wish to successfully establish their existing product or service in international markets. Through a holistic approach, it connects experienced mentors from the fields of foreign trade, research & innovation, and corporate financing with individually tailored training sessions, workshops, and coaching. Participants benefit from free office spaces in target regions – from the USA through Asia and Latin America to Europe and Africa – and gain direct access to a global network of partners and investors. The program thus aims to systematically increase the expansion potential of young companies and accelerate successful market entry.

Eligible to participate are promising founding teams with a market-tested offering and high growth potential. Applications can be submitted continuously, ensuring flexible planning of the international scaling process. The funding instrument, implemented by Start2 Group GmbH and supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, covers all program costs. However, travel expenses and other costs remain the responsibility of the participating startups.
