Funding objective
This measure supports educational priorities in the areas of reading, gifted education, and digital education. Additionally, funds are provided for thematically focused initiatives and programs in the fields of culture, school sports, environment, health prevention, as well as measures to support dyslexia. The goal is to raise awareness and sensitize individuals in the respective thematic areas (e.g., addiction prevention, cultural understanding, environmental awareness).

Description
The funding program supports educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and public bodies in Vorarlberg in the implementation of educational priorities. Eligible to apply are kindergartens, schools, and extracurricular educational providers conducting projects in the fields of education, sports, health, environmental/nature conservation, culture, as well as vocational and further training. The type of funding granted is a direct subsidy, which can be applied for through an informal, written request. A prerequisite for the allocation of funds is a funding commitment; furthermore, the location and implementation of the measure must be in Vorarlberg. Since applications can be submitted at any time and the program has been in place without a deadline since 2020, project ideas can be submitted flexibly.
The focus is on four core areas: reading promotion, talent development, digital education, as well as thematically oriented initiatives in culture, school sports, environment, and health prevention. Additionally, special programs for dyslexia support are funded. The goal is to raise awareness and sensitize, for example, in addiction prevention, cultural understanding, and environmental consciousness, as well as to strengthen digital competencies. With an annual budget volume of around 0.1 million euros, the program enables the implementation of diverse projects that contribute to a sustainable quality improvement in the regional education sector.
