Description
The initiative promotes administrative support at general compulsory schools in the state of Salzburg with the aim of relieving school principals and teachers from increasing administrative tasks and thereby sustainably strengthening school autonomy. Public institutions can apply for a grant to provide additional administrative capacities and significantly relieve educational professionals as well as management teams. The thematic focus lies in the areas of education as well as initial and continuing training, with the funding type being designed as a grant. Since applications can be submitted indefinitely, the funding offer enables continuous and long-term planning of administrative relief measures, which positively impact teaching quality and strategic school development.
Eligible to apply are school principals and teachers of general compulsory schools in the state of Salzburg. A prerequisite for funding is the submission of a fully completed general funding application of the state of Salzburg as well as compliance with the General Guidelines for the Awarding of Funding. The documents to be submitted include, in addition to the main form, all attachments required in the funding guidelines. Since its launch in April 2013, there has been no final deadline – the program supports long-term development strategies and responds flexibly to school needs. Funding is awarded after a positive review and must be documented in a final usage report; regular report audits and, if necessary, on-site inspections ensure the targeted use of funds.
