Description
Promotion of Innovation, Research & Development in Care and Health focuses on forward-looking solutions to strengthen care quality, efficiency, and accessibility throughout Germany. The non-profit ProCurand Foundation supports projects in the areas of health, digitalization, research & innovation, as well as work & social affairs. Funding is provided for, among others, digital applications, AI-supported diagnostic tools, telemedicine services, and intelligent assistance systems that create immediate added value for those in need of care and their relatives. The goal is to establish sustainable standards that make the care and health sectors more resilient to demographic change and skilled labor shortages. Through continuous funding rounds, the foundation supports both innovative start-ups and established research institutions and non-profit organizations.
Eligible to participate are founders, young companies, educational and research institutions, as well as non-profit organizations that implement their projects cooperatively with scientific partners or demonstrate proven research activity. Funding is granted in the form of non-equity subsidies. Evaluation criteria include the degree of innovation, relevance to care quality and efficiency, as well as scientific substantiation. Applicants are encouraged to submit their concepts with clearly defined objectives and a convincing implementation plan. The flexible application deadline allows suitable projects to be submitted at any time, facilitating the timely realization of promising ideas and sustainably supporting the long-term development of the care and health sector.
