Description
The funding of youth associations in Styria is aimed at non-profit interest groups and other associations that, as legal entities of organized youth work, are members of the Styrian State Youth Council. The goal is to maintain the service structure and to implement innovative projects in order to ensure a high-quality extracurricular and non-vocational offering for children and young people. Thematically, the focus is on commitment to social cohesion and democracy, the promotion of work and social affairs, as well as the diverse support of young people. As a continuously accessible grant program, it provides a reliable basis for the development of sustainable structures in regional youth work.
A prerequisite for funding is compliance with the provisions of the Styrian Youth Act as well as the Youth Funding Guidelines. The current funding application must include a binding violence protection concept and, if applicable, a De-minimis declaration. Applications for the annual activities of the following year must be submitted no later than October 31 of the current year. The funds are awarded as direct grants and require a report on activities for verification of proper use upon completion. This offer is exclusively available to non-profit organizations in Styria and specifically supports organized children’s and youth work.
