Funding of projects by the Donor Community of Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg

The Donor Association of Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, foundations, interest groups, associations, companies, and public institutions in Lower Saxony in the implementation of sustainable projects. Funding is particularly provided for initiatives that have a long-term impact in the Celle, Gifhorn, and Wolfsburg region and relate to the fields of action of children and youth, education, as well as hospice and palliative care services. Additional focus areas include culture & media, health, work & social affairs, as well as vocational training and further education. As a grant provider, the Donor Association mobilizes societal resources and thereby contributes to the quality of life in the region.

Applications can be submitted at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. Prerequisites for successful funding are a project location in the specified region, a convincing sustainability concept, and alignment with the funding priorities. Eligible to apply are all the aforementioned entities that submit a completed funding application including a cost and financing plan. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, material expenses, and other costs. In its selection, the board is guided by the quality and substance of the application, the clear sustainability impact, and the thematic fit. Proof of non-profit status, a detailed financing plan, and information on already applied-for third-party funds are also required. Flexibility in application processing as well as low-threshold formal requirements enable an unbureaucratic funding decision and open up diverse opportunities for local initiatives.
