The ego.-WISSEN program supports regional agencies in Saxony-Anhalt in implementing accompanying qualification measures for founders in the pre- and post-start-up phases. Funding objective
The state of Saxony-Anhalt supports municipalities, start-up centers, municipal economic development companies, and similar institutions based in Saxony-Anhalt in organizing and implementing accompanying qualification measures for founders in the pre- and post-start-up phases, in order to secure sustainable founding and market opportunities.

Description
ego.-WISSEN is aimed at regional providers in Saxony-Anhalt such as districts, independent cities, startup centers, and municipal economic development agencies that organize and manage qualification measures for founders in the pre- and post-startup phases. The program subsidizes personnel expenses by up to 90% and fully covers qualification hours to secure sustainable founding and market opportunities. Funding amounts can be up to a maximum of €2,750 per founder. Applications can be submitted continuously via the IB customer portal until December 31, 2028, allowing flexible planning of qualification projects throughout the entire funding period 2023–2028.
A prerequisite for funding is a registered office or branch in Saxony-Anhalt as well as proof of the professional and personal suitability of the measure provider. Additionally, a validated business plan, expert endorsement, a qualification contract with the founders, and participation within 12 months before up to 5 years after founding are required. Eligible expenses include project management, organization, modules in the pre- and post-startup phases, and support for business formation. Paid legal consultations in the field of liberal professions and mergers of existing companies are excluded. Selection is based on professional competence, curriculum quality, target group orientation, and cooperation with partners from business, education, administration, and politics. This funding format offers regional actors tailored support to sustainably strengthen founders and promote competitiveness in Saxony-Anhalt.
