Description
Funding to Increase Remuneration for Nursing and Care Staff in Styria
This initiative aims to support companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions in Styria that are required to implement extraordinary pay increases for nursing and care staff in accordance with the Health and Nursing Care Act as well as the Styrian Social Care Professions Act. The federal government provides earmarked grants, which are disbursed by the State of Styria. This is intended to offset existing salary disparities, compensate for additional responsibilities, and promote attractive remuneration in the nursing and care sector in the long term.
Scope of Funding and Application Procedures
The funding covers 100% of the additional costs resulting from pay-regulating provisions for extraordinary pay increases. Eligible to apply are all providers of in-kind services in the nursing and care sector. Only the additional payments made according to collective agreements or statutes are eligible for funding. For submission, documentation such as the relevant regulations, a list of employees with specified costs, billing documents, and a written confirmation of the payments made must be provided. Applications can be submitted online from November 28, 2022, and are possible until the full allocation of funds. This funding offer provides effective support to sustainably retain qualified personnel and ensure improved remuneration for nursing and care staff.
