Funding Tourism Strategy 2030

The Tourism Strategy 2030 funding supports projects anchored in the roadmap for an opportunity-rich and sustainable quality tourism. Coordinated by Vorarlberg Tourismus GmbH, grants totaling up to EUR 0.5 million annually provide financial incentives for measures in the areas of training and further education, digitalization, regional development, climate protection, environmental and nature conservation, as well as agriculture and rural development. The focus is on workforce development, innovative digital projects, and sustainable concepts that contribute to strengthening national and international competitiveness. Ongoing funding opportunities allow flexible planning and annual application submissions at the beginning of the year to offer suitable support to the diverse stakeholders in the region.

Targeted are companies and public institutions as well as tourism organizations and stakeholders in Vorarlberg, particularly Vorarlberg Tourismus GmbH and its partners. A prerequisite for approval is a resolution by the supervisory board on the annual budget as well as a government resolution by the state government. Submission requires an application, a project description, and a budget plan. Applications can be submitted every year from January 1st at the Office of the Vorarlberg State Government, Department of General Economic Affairs. The program sets impulses for innovation, digitalization, and ecological resilience and makes a significant contribution to the future viability of the tourism location while creating sustainable prospects for the entire region.
