Research Projects (Project Funding) – Oskar-Helene-Heim Foundation

The Oskar-Helene-Heim Foundation supports medical and medical technology research projects nationwide, particularly in the fields of orthopedics, trauma surgery, pulmonology, abdominal diseases, and orthopedic technology. Funding is provided to educational institutions, non-profit organizations, companies, as well as private individuals who contribute with innovative approaches to diagnostics, therapy, or prevention. The funding is granted as a subsidy and applications can be submitted continuously. The goal is to strengthen science and research at a high level and to accelerate the transfer of knowledge into practice. The range extends from basic research to applied pilot studies that can provide sustainable impulses for healthcare in Germany.

Funding is especially interesting for scientists, researchers, and medical institutions employing experimental methods such as modern imaging techniques (e.g., PET/CT, G-Scan MRI) or multidisciplinary collaborations within interdisciplinary teams. In addition to targeted financing of novel projects, the foundation thus offers the opportunity to implement both technology-oriented and non-profit health-promoting initiatives.
