Description
The coordination and support project "Fostering 2-Dimensional Materials (2DM) based emerging and enabling technologies (CSA)" aims to build a vibrant R&D community in the EU focused on 2D materials and to promote their synergies. Through targeted networking, roadmapping, and standardization activities, experts from companies, public and educational institutions, as well as civil society organizations, are to be brought together in at least three independent partners from different countries. Within the framework of communication and dissemination measures, the know-how from EU-funded projects – such as the Graphene Flagship – will also be strengthened and made widely accessible. With a funding amount of €1 million at 100% funding rate, the program supports projects with a duration of up to 36 months; the application deadline is April 15, 2026.
Eligible costs include personnel and travel expenses, event costs, as well as communication and dissemination measures; investments in real estate or retrospective costs are excluded. Eligible applicants are legal entities in EU member states or associated countries with proven expertise in 2DM research and infrastructure, jointly involving at least three partners from different countries. Evaluation is based on the criteria of innovation content, scientific excellence, and effectiveness of dissemination and communication. A successful application offers all participants the opportunity to expand European technological leadership in the field of two-dimensional materials and to establish a sustainable research and innovation platform in Europe.
