Description

The Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf offers an ongoing health program in Hamburg for people with disabilities, individuals with mental illnesses, and those with addiction disorders. The goal is to overcome barriers within the existing healthcare system and to develop individualized care services. Participants benefit from interdisciplinary treatment approaches and low-threshold contact options that enable timely and uncomplicated application processes. Through gender-sensitive communication, the foundation promotes an inclusive environment in which patients and their relatives are equally supported.

The program includes a comprehensive network of specialized hospitals and centers, including the Evangelical Hospital Alsterdorf with epilepsy monitoring, geriatric and neurological departments, as well as psychiatric day clinics. This spectrum is complemented by the Heinrich Sengelmann Clinics for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the Alsterdorf Counseling Center, social pediatric facilities, and the medical center for adults with disabilities. Therapeutic services such as speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy are also available. Vocational rehabilitation for epilepsy and psychosocial support complete the program. Interested parties can contact the foundation at any time and receive comprehensive information on funding opportunities and individual support options.
