Description
The Givers Gain Grants of the BNI Germany Foundation support nationwide non-profit school and educational projects with a one-time grant of €1,000. Each spring and autumn, up to ten applications are evaluated, which require a binding recommendation from a BNI chapter or member. Eligible initiatives are those that enhance the learning environment, provide educational materials, or develop innovative educational offerings for children and adolescents. For the application, in addition to the certificate of non-profit status, a concise project description, a financing plan, and proof of the BNI recommendation must be submitted. The selection is based on the sustainable impact on as many students as possible, the quality of the project concept, and the existing connection to the BNI network.
With this program, the foundation supports schools and other educational institutions in improving the educational opportunities of young people in the long term. The biannual funding cycle ends on March 31 for the spring selection and on September 30 for the autumn round. Successful applicants can flexibly use the funds for equipment, learning materials, or project-related activities, thereby positively influencing the entire class or school climate. Through close collaboration with locally engaged BNI chapter members, a network of experts and entrepreneurs is created, which provides not only financial assistance but also practical impulses for education. The foundation aims for a sustainable funding partnership, within which projects can be supported and further developed over several years.
