Group Programs (Children's Academy Fulda)

The Children's Academy Fulda offers school classes and kindergarten groups from Hesse with at least 15 participants exciting insights into art and natural sciences. In interactive hands-on programs, the groups can expect age-appropriate workshops and guided tours through the Walkable Heart as well as the experimental field of the unique children's museum. Whether creative book design in the leporello workshop, geometric challenges with tangram, or handcrafted thread pictures: each unit combines illustrative tours with practical design tasks. Additionally, electricity and creative workshops impart the basics of electrical engineering or artistic printing techniques. This way, both motor skills and logical thinking are equally promoted, and curiosity for scientific phenomena and artistic forms of expression is awakened.

The programs are continuously available and can be booked year-round – except during the Hessian school holidays. The participation fee is €14 per person; a visit to the museum without a current special exhibition is already included. Registration is by phone or email at the Children's Academy Fulda, with educational institutions from schools and kindergartens representing an eligible target group. The offerings are especially aimed at primary school classes from grade 1 onwards seeking an experiential learning environment outside regular lessons. Through the interdisciplinary approach, the hands-on programs combine artistic creativity with scientific experiments and thus make a significant contribution to expanding educational and experimental opportunities in the region.
