Description
The Hans Hermann Voss Scholarship of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw) complements the Klaus Murmann Study Support Program and offers an exceptional recognition for early-career researchers in STEM fields in North Rhine-Westphalia. Eligible applicants are individuals who obtained their university entrance qualification in the Oberberg district, Rheinisch-Berg district, or in the Remscheid–Solingen–Wuppertal metropolitan triangle and are currently enrolled in a STEM degree program at a university in North Rhine-Westphalia. The award aims to strengthen academic success and equal opportunities by providing an additional network and professional impulses within the scientific-technical environment.
To apply for the Hans Hermann Voss Scholarship, interested candidates must submit their documents between January 12, 2026 and March 3, 2026, 1:00 PM (CET). Priority is given to first-time university students, female students, students at universities of applied sciences, as well as graduates of vocational technical training programs. Master’s students can enhance their application by specializing in forward-looking fields such as medical technology, plastics technology, environmental engineering, or solar technology. The selection process considers both academic achievements and the applicants’ commitment, thereby ensuring targeted support for promising talents in the North Rhine-Westphalia region.
