Description
In the Burgenland region, the state provides financial grants to strengthen outpatient, mobile home nursing care by qualified health and nursing staff as well as trained nursing assistants and care aides. The aim of the funding is to enable people in need of assistance or care to remain in their familiar living environment and to ensure comprehensive care through professional services such as wound care, dressing changes, insulin administration, or electrical stimulation. The support is provided within the framework of ongoing funding opportunities as a non-repayable grant and follows clearly defined quality criteria established in an agreement between the state of Burgenland and the Association for Home Nursing and Social Services. This measure promotes not only medical care but also the support of patients and their relatives through competent counseling.
The funding is aimed at companies, non-profit organizations, and private individuals offering mobile care and support services. Eligible applicants include, in particular, certified nursing staff, nursing assistants, home helpers, as well as employees in mobile dementia care such as psychologists and occupational therapists. A prerequisite for the grant is that all services are provided in the private residential setting by qualified personnel. Applications can be submitted continuously, as there is no fixed deadline. This initiative promotes sustainable structures in the field of mobile care and increases the security of care provision in all Burgenland municipalities.
