Description
The Hessian Trade Fair Funding is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, craft and micro-enterprises, as well as young, innovative start-ups based in Hesse, which actively participate as exhibitors at internationally oriented trade fairs domestically and abroad or – in the case of start-up formats – attend specialist events as visitors. Applicant companies can continuously receive grants covering 50% of eligible costs, including stand rental, stand construction and dismantling, transport of exhibits (up to €2,500), insurance, catalog entries, interpreters, and external personnel. For trade fairs outside the EU and EFTA, up to €4,000 per company is available; within Germany and EU/EFTA countries, up to €2,000. Active participation is intended to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of Hessian companies, promote their internationalization, and thereby secure jobs in Hesse.
Applications must be submitted to HA Hessen Agentur GmbH – Innovation Promotion Hesse no later than four weeks before registering for the trade fair. Required documents include the completed application form, an expenditure and financing plan, the SME self-declaration, and the de minimis declaration. After the trade fair participation, a usage and final report including supporting documents must be submitted. The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant within the framework of co-financing pursuant to § 44 LHO and Regulation (EU) 2023/2831. Interested companies benefit from a straightforward application process to expand and sustainably consolidate their market position in new or more distant target markets.
