HIEBER Foundation Award

The HIEBER Foundation Award annually honors outstanding commitment by regional clubs, interest groups, and non-profit organizations in Baden-Württemberg. With a prize sum of €2,000, initiatives in the social sector as well as in youth work and youth sports are supported, specifically those dedicated to socially disadvantaged children and adolescents. Applications are evaluated based on criteria such as exceptional voluntary engagement, social integration, and sustainable support for disadvantaged youth. A prerequisite for funding is a complete application submitted by clubs or organizations (individuals are not eligible) for projects in the social or youth sector. Cultural projects are not considered.

Application documents include a completed questionnaire as well as supplementary materials such as photos and press reports to illustrate the project activities. The submission period for the 2025 Foundation Award extends from February 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026. Initiatives are sought that, through their commitment, unlock the potential of young people, strengthen social cohesion, and serve as role models for other clubs. The HIEBER Foundation places great importance on transparency and the sustainable impact of its funding and also raises public awareness for the awarded projects.
