Description

The funding Assistance for Living Expenses, Bgld. ChG supports adults with disabilities in Burgenland through financial grants. In accordance with the Burgenland Equal Opportunities Act, benefits for living expenses and comprehensive inclusion in health insurance are provided. For those entitled to inpatient care, an additional clothing allowance of up to 30% of the net standard compensation rate is available in June and December, provided that the purchase of clothing is not covered by personal funds. Applications can be submitted indefinitely from October 1, 2024 at the district administrative authorities or magistrates.

The funding objective is to ensure a basic subsistence level and equal participation of people with disabilities in everyday life. Eligible applicants are Austrian citizens, persons entitled to asylum, and those permanently residing in the country for at least five years, as well as homeless persons with a valid registration confirmation, provided that their main residence and actual stay are in Burgenland. To submit an application, a completed application form, bank statements from the last six months, a disability pass, and confirmation of the main residence are required.
