Description

The institutional funding provided by the Evangelical Foundations Osnabrück regularly supports non-profit organizations in Lower Saxony that are active in the fields of youth and elderly care, education, general and vocational training, as well as student assistance. By granting subsidies to institutions such as the Diaconal Work, the continuity of social services is secured despite rising operating costs, and long-term planning reliability is ensured. Eligible for funding are public sponsors and non-profit institutions that can demonstrably operate in the aforementioned areas and prove their non-profit status.

Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no application deadline. A prerequisite is the submission of a meaningful project description as well as a detailed financing plan. The allocation of funds is carried out in an unbureaucratic manner through review by the board and the supervisory council. The aim of the funding is to sustainably strengthen social institutions so that they can continue to fulfill their important tasks for children, youth, and elderly people in the long term, even in times of increased costs. Through this, the Evangelical Foundations Osnabrück provide a reliable basis for non-profit projects and institutional sponsors in Lower Saxony.
