The Cinema Concetta Film Funding Foundation annually awards short films with satirical, socially and timely critical content as part of the Rüsselsheim Film Days. Private individuals from Hesse are eligible to participate, provided their production was not created before 2023, is in German or includes German subtitles, and is submitted in digital format (at least 576/25p SD), on 35 mm, 16 mm, or DigiBeta. The runtime must not exceed 20 minutes. Online registration is possible until February 13, 2026. In addition to the completed film, a curriculum vitae and a concise synopsis are required for submission. The viewing version can be provided via an upload link or a platform such as Vimeo.

The winners are determined by audience vote and receive the audience award endowed with €5,000. Directors should be personally present on the evening of the award ceremony to accept their prize. The selection is based on the audience vote as well as the formal fulfillment of the participation requirements. With this award, the Foundation aims to promote creative short film projects that critically reflect current developments and stimulate social discussions.
