Description

Since 2011, the Gerd & Luzia Beckmann Foundation has annually awarded a one-time grant of up to €2,500 for an outstanding, sustainably designed project in a daycare center or school within the Artland collective municipality. The objective is to promote innovative educational and health projects that benefit children and adolescents while achieving long-term effects. Special emphasis is placed on projects that support the foundation’s purpose, demonstrate a clear sustainability aspect, and specifically target disadvantaged participants. Through this funding measure, non-profit organizations and educational institutions are given the opportunity to effectively support communal learning, prevention, and social integration. The foundation makes decisions promptly, thereby providing timely planning security for creative project sponsors.

Eligible for funding are all clubs, schools, and other non-profit institutions working with children and youth groups in the Artland collective municipality. The funding rate is 100%, and applications can be submitted at any time. The application must include the completed application form, a meaningful project description, a detailed cost breakdown, and the grant confirmation. The selection process is primarily based on alignment with the foundation’s purpose, the benefit for disadvantaged children and adolescents, and resource conservation. Interested institutions are invited to submit their project ideas in writing and thus contribute to the sustainable development of the Artland educational location.
