Description
The Job Offensive 50plus supports Viennese companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that employ unemployed persons aged 50 and over in subsidized employment relationships. The goal is the sustainable reintegration of Viennese residents aged 50 and above who have been unemployed for at least one year at AMS Vienna or have held a recipient status of the Vienna Minimum Income for at least three months. The funding includes a direct subsidy for wages and ancillary wage costs over a period of eight months and runs from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025. This opens up new professional perspectives for experienced specialists and benefits the Viennese labor market through their expertise.
A prerequisite for funding is residence in Vienna, a minimum age of 50 years, and a commitment to continued employment beyond the funding period. Companies and institutions must submit a job notification to AMS Vienna before employment begins and submit the application including a declaration of commitment to the Wien Energie Employee Promotion Fund (waff) within six weeks of receiving the AMS notification. The disbursement of funds takes place monthly in arrears, with the final installment paid upon submission of the AMS final accounting documents. This structured approach ensures that experienced job seekers are quickly integrated into everyday professional life and remain long-term in Viennese companies.
