Description
The Carinthian National Park Fund Hohe Tauern supports projects in the state of Carinthia aimed at securing and restoring culturally and historically significant objects, traditional crafts, as well as contemporary cultural activities. Initiatives by private individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations, cooperatives, as well as associations and organizations committed to preserving the regional cultural heritage within the National Park area are eligible for funding. The funding measure aims to preserve historically valuable buildings, furnishings, or traditional skills from decay while simultaneously strengthening creative projects that revive the cultural awareness and identity of the region.
Funding is provided in the form of a grant covering up to 75% of the eligible total costs, with a required contribution in cash, in-kind, or labor. Eligible costs include planning expenses, construction costs, and other expenditures directly related to the project. The maximum project duration is 36 months. Applications can be submitted at any time to the National Park Committee Hohe Tauern, with ongoing decision-making ensuring flexible start dates. For application submission, the official funding application form, a declaration of commitment, relevant official permits, and a detailed financing plan including total costs and proof of own contributions must be provided. Following a positive decision, a contractual commitment is issued, followed by project-specific accounting in compliance with the applicable funding guidelines.
