Description
KMU.DIGITAL is a nationwide initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy in cooperation with the Austrian Economic Chamber and is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, founders, and cooperatives throughout Austria. The focus is on consulting and implementation services for digitalization and green transformation projects: certified KMU.DIGITAL consultants support the planning, realization, and market launch of digital innovations or ecological sustainability measures. Consulting costs as well as subsequent implementation expenses are subsidized with a grant of up to 80% of eligible costs, but no more than €3,000. Eligible to apply are SMEs with headquarters and active business operations in Austria that submit a funding application between May 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026. The funding measure is continuously open and offers, through the new GREEN track, a complementary focus on ecological transformation through digital solutions.
Interested companies must submit, among other things, their Global Location Number (GLN), information on turnover and employees, as well as the selection of the desired consulting or green tools when applying. After the subsidized consulting has been carried out and paid invoices with project number and a consulting report have been submitted, implementation funding can be applied for. The process is handled online via the aws funding manager; registration is required prior to submission. KMU.DIGITAL thus not only creates digital efficiency improvements but also contributes to the ecological modernization of Austrian companies and strengthens their competitiveness in the market.
