Description
The funding supports Viennese SMEs in conducting a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity status analysis (GPA3 tool), thereby making an important contribution to increasing resilience within the framework of KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN. With a grant covering 80% of the consulting costs up to a maximum of €400 per company, tailored assessments of the digital infrastructure are promoted. The approximately half-day analysis is carried out by a certified consultant and identifies key vulnerabilities, risks, and optimization potentials. Applications can be submitted online from May 21, 2024 – as long as budget funds are available. This measure is part of a broad consulting initiative that helps small and medium-sized enterprises in Vienna to secure and future-proof their business processes.
Eligible for funding are SMEs with a registered office or place of business in Vienna, holding a trade license, independent business management, and proof of engagement of a certified IT/cybersecurity consultant. Expenses for consultant travel costs, revenues prior to the application, and value-added tax are not eligible. For reimbursement, a structured consulting report, the invoice, proof of payment, and a completed feedback questionnaire must be uploaded to the aws funding manager. Allocation is chronological based on the receipt of complete applications and budget availability. This funding measure enables a structured assessment of IT security and thus lays the foundation for further digitalization projects with sustainable added value for Viennese SMEs.
