Description

The European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (GFCNI) enables ongoing cooperation and project partnerships throughout the EU to sustainably improve maternal and neonatal care as well as family-centered care. Support is provided for collaboration and knowledge transfer in five key areas of action: Consulting & Networking to connect with international experts and parent organizations, Research Opportunities for joint studies, Policy & Advocacy for political influence, Education & Training for scientifically based further education, and Awareness & Communication to raise public awareness. Eligible applicants include companies, non-profit and public institutions, as well as educational providers who wish to develop and implement innovative solutions together with GFCNI.

The partnerships are specifically aimed at healthcare professionals, researchers, political decision-makers, parent and patient organizations, as well as industry partners. The goal is to strengthen international networks, advance evidence-based research, shape political frameworks, and optimize family-centered care concepts. By combining professional expertise, real-life experience, and strategic advocacy, accessibility, equality, and quality of care for newborns and their families are to be increased across Europe. Interested stakeholders will find in this funding a platform to jointly set sustainable impulses for the future of maternal and child health with GFCNI and to further develop global standards.
