Cooperation Funding of the Helmut Fischer Foundation

The Helmut Fischer Foundation supports partnerships nationwide between non-profit organizations as well as educational and research institutions, with a particular focus on STEM fields. Among the projects already supported are the mentoring program "START" at the Technical University of Berlin, which provides long-term guidance to students from grade 9 onwards, as well as the regular funding of the "Jugend forscht" competition through the Youth Research Center Schwarzwald-Schönbuch e. V. The goal of these collaborations is to inspire young talent early on for scientific and technical issues, enable professional networking, and realize innovative project ideas. The continuous awarding ensures that institutions and non-profit initiatives can submit applications on an ongoing basis.

Eligible for funding are, in addition to schools and universities, foundation-like institutions as well as other non-profit organizations in the field of education and training. Both non-material and material project components are supported in order to create sustainable impulses for research and innovation. Sponsorship supports teaching and learning formats as well as competition formats that motivate students, pupils, and young scientists. The Helmut Fischer Foundation thus makes a significant contribution to bridging the gap between science and practice and to strengthening young scientific talent in the long term. Applications can be submitted at any time to initiate new cooperation projects.
