Description
The initiative Lighthouse Projects in the Field of Digitalization in the federal state of Tyrol supports unique undertakings that generate a special added value for a specific region in Tyrol or beyond. Funding is provided for demonstration projects on digital transformation that create positive impulses for the economic, work, and living environment. Applicants – ranging from private individuals, sole proprietorships, and cooperatives to associations, municipalities, tourism organizations, or universities – must have their headquarters in the federal state of Tyrol. The funding rate varies depending on the target group between 30 % and 100 % of the recognized expenses, with a maximum of €200,000 granted per project. Eligible costs include investments in tangible assets and intangible values, personnel costs, material and supply costs, as well as external services.
Projects are generally implemented over a period of 24 months. Applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2027. For the application, a meaningful project description, a detailed breakdown of project costs, corresponding quotations, and the latest annual financial statements must be submitted. The processing is carried out by the Department of Economic Location, Digitalization, and Science of the State of Tyrol. The conceptual orientation aims to create a lighthouse effect and sustainably strengthen Tyrol’s digital competitiveness.
