Ließem Scholarship (Ließem Foundation)

The Ließem Scholarship from the Ließem Foundation supports needy young people with their primary residence in Bonn or the Rhein-Sieg district on their educational path up to university graduation. With a monthly grant of €300, the foundation promotes the development of professional and academic qualifications in the areas of vocational training, further education, and schooling. Funding is awarded on an ongoing basis, so applications can be reviewed at any time. The goal is to create equal opportunities and financially relieve students up to the age of 27, allowing them to fully concentrate on their education.

Eligible applicants are private individuals who are no older than 27 years, have had a primary residence in Bonn or the Rhein-Sieg district for at least five years, and can demonstrate their neediness in accordance with § 53 AO. The following documents are required for the application: the completed application form, a registration certificate, proof of social benefits, if applicable a BAföG notice, income and asset statements, as well as a consent form for data usage. The documents can be easily submitted via the foundation’s application forms. Interested parties thus receive a predictable financial contribution that sustainably secures their studies and training and opens up prospects for personal and professional development.
