Description

Little Pots is a funding instrument of the FLÜWO Foundation that opens up new opportunities for neighbors and small initiatives in Stuttgart to shape their neighborhood. Every two years, at the beginning of the year, a one-time grant of €500 is awarded to reduce financial barriers to project implementation. Additionally, a professional moderation team supports interested parties in two participatory events to help them concretize and collectively prioritize their ideas. Within a duration of up to six months, Little Pots enables the realization of diverse projects in the fields of engagement for social cohesion, urban development & urban renewal, work & social affairs, as well as infrastructure & urban planning in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Eligible to apply are non-profit groups or initiatives that volunteer in their neighborhood and promote democratic values and diversity. A non-profit sponsoring organization through which the application is submitted is required, as well as a willingness to collaboratively develop and implement the project. Only project costs are funded; a detailed accounting of fund usage is mandatory upon completion. Little Pots specifically targets neighbors and small district initiatives who wish to identify and realize opportunities for their neighborhood through participatory workshops. Through the combination of micro-funding and professional support, structures are created that sustainably strengthen civic engagement at the local level.
